This is me — Cyres. DJ, producer, professional troublemaker behind the decks, and the guy behind Pixel Pulse at The Twinks Club.
My sound lives somewhere between Dance, House and Beatfuck. Catchy vocals, dirty basslines, euphoric moments, unexpected turns and, every now and then, a track that makes standing still feel like a very questionable decision.
I don’t really do “press play and hope for the best.” My sets are built to flow, shift and surprise. Familiar tracks meet new discoveries, harder moments collide with playful ones, and somewhere in between you’ll probably hear something you didn’t know you needed five minutes ago.
There’s also more happening behind the booth. As Cyres Alexander, I write and release my own music outside Second Life. SL is my homebase, my playground and a big part of my story — but my music has a life beyond the grid too.
Personality-wise, I’m cheeky, teasing and just chaotic enough to keep things interesting. I take the music seriously. Myself considerably less so. Which probably also explains the flamingo.
Pink, slightly ridiculous, impossible to ignore — somehow it just fits. 🦩
And that is pretty much Pixel Pulse in a nutshell: pop instincts, club pressure, pretty boys, filthy bass and the dangerous little lie of “I’ll stay for one more track.”
